CutList Syntix is a cut list planning and optimization app. This page explains what data is
processed on your device, how exports work, and how to delete local data.
CutList Syntix works offline. We do not operate user accounts, do not collect or transmit
personal data to our servers, and do not sell data. The app does not include analytics or
advertising SDKs.
How the App Works
You create projects with materials, sheets, and parts.
The app calculates cutting layouts and keeps results for your project history.
All processing stays on your device unless you export a file.
Data We Process (On Device Only)
Project data: project names, units, and metadata you enter.
Materials and sheets: sizes, quantities, defects, and remnants.
Parts list: dimensions, quantities, and notes.
Machine settings: kerf, edge clearance, and optimization preferences.
Calculation results and history for previous runs.
Preferences: UI settings and export options.
Security settings: PIN enabled/disabled and biometric preference (stored securely).
What We Do Not Collect
No personal identifiers, contacts, photos, messages, or precise location.
No analytics, advertising IDs, or cross-app tracking.
No cloud syncing unless you export a file yourself.
Sharing
We do not share data with third parties.
Exported files (PDF, QR image, CSV) are shared only when you choose to save or share them.
Permissions We Use
USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT: to unlock the app if you enable biometrics.
CutList Syntix does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, phone,
or location.
Security
PIN and security settings are stored using Android encrypted storage.
All data remains on your device unless you export a file.
We do not run backend servers for this app.
Children's Privacy
CutList Syntix is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect
personal information from children.
Data Deletion
In the app: delete projects, materials, parts, or runs you no longer need.
