PermLens Syntix is a permissions monitoring app. This page explains what data is
processed on your device, how alerts work, and how to request deletion.
PermLens Syntix is designed to work offline. We do not operate user accounts,
do not collect or transmit personal data to our servers, and do not sell data.
The app does not include analytics or advertising SDKs.
How the App Works
The app scans installed applications on your device to show their declared and granted permissions.
It keeps a local history of permission changes to generate alerts.
Security settings: PIN enabled/disabled and biometric preference (stored securely).
Optional storage stats (only if you enable size tracking).
What We Do Not Collect
No personal identifiers, contacts, photos, messages, or precise location.
No analytics, advertising IDs, or cross-app tracking.
No cloud syncing unless you export a report yourself.
Sharing
We do not share data with third parties.
Exported reports are shared only when you choose to share them.
Permissions We Use
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: to list installed apps and read their permissions.
PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS: only if you enable size tracking, to read storage usage.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: to send permission-change alerts.
USE_BIOMETRIC: to unlock the app if you enable biometrics.
PermLens Syntix does not request access to your camera, microphone,
contacts, SMS, phone, or location. The app only shows which other apps request
those permissions.
Security
PIN and security settings are stored using Android encrypted storage.
All data remains on your device unless you export a report.
We do not run backend servers for this app.
Children's Privacy
PermLens Syntix is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect
personal information from children.
