We do not sell, rent, or share your data for advertising or analytics purposes.
Data Collection and Use
- FinSyntix does not collect or transmit your personal or financial data to our servers.
- All financial data is processed locally on your device.
- We do not track users and do not use analytics SDKs that collect personal data.
Data We Process
- Financial data you enter (transactions, categories, accounts, budgets, goals).
- Receipt images you choose to scan.
- Optional support messages you send (subject, message, and email if provided).
How Data Is Stored
- App data is stored locally on your device.
- Sensitive data (PIN and security settings) is stored using secure storage.
- Backups are stored in your Google Drive only if you enable backup.
Permissions We Use
- Camera: scan receipts and QR codes.
- Photos/media: select receipt images from your gallery.
- Notifications: send reminders and alerts.
- Biometrics: unlock the app with fingerprint/Face ID.
- Internet/network state: optional services like backup, support, and currency rates.
Third Parties
- Google Drive for backups (only if enabled by you).
- Google ML Kit for on-device text recognition only; no images are sent to external servers.
- App stores and their payment providers for subscriptions (if enabled).
Security
- We use platform-provided encryption and secure storage to protect sensitive data.
Retention
- Local data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
- Backups remain in your Google Drive until you delete them.
Data Deletion
FinSyntix does not require an account. Your data is stored locally on your device.
- Delete local data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage in device settings.
- If you enabled Google Drive backup, delete the "FinSyntix Backups" folder in your Drive.
- If you contacted support, email us to remove any message records we may have.
