Syntix Guardian is a browser extension focused on redirect safety, UX scam signal detection,
and permission control. Data is processed locally in your browser. We do not sell user data,
and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking.
Data We Process
Redirect session logs and risk signals for visited pages.
Optional UX scan results for pages you scan or pages where protection is enabled.
Site permission timeline and temporary grant records.
Optional extension audit metadata only when audit mode is enabled by you.
Settings you choose (scan exclusions, retention, privacy toggles, blocked domains).
How Data Is Stored
Data is stored locally using browser storage (IndexedDB and extension storage).
By default, stored URLs are sanitized and query parameters are not kept.
You can enable or disable specific storage behaviors in extension settings.
How Data Is Used
To detect risky redirect behavior and suspicious UX patterns.
To display alerts, side panel event history, and local security explanations.
To apply your chosen permission and retention rules.
Syntix Guardian does not require account registration and does not intentionally transmit
browsing logs to external analytics services.
